Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead multi-year fundraising strategies, build a portfolio of qualified donors, and coordinate asks to corporate, foundation, and individual donors.

Based in Northeast Ohio with frequent travel, you will work with cross-functional teams, engage volunteers, and partner with the Worldwide Office to expand giving and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience.
• Experience building and maintaining long-term donor relationships.
• Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $25,000+.
• Experience managing multiple prospects and donors.
• Knowledge of charitable gift planning and fundraising principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of qualified donors.
• Lead multi-year fundraising strategies and plans.
• Coordinate asks to corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
• Engage partners across the field and Worldwide Office; report on interactions.
