Job summary

The Nature Conservancy in Tennessee seeks a Director of Development to lead the statewide fundraising team and secure philanthropic support. This leadership role focuses on driving a flexible, outcomes-based fundraising approach and collaborating across campaigns.

You will work to raise at least $3.5M annually from Tennessee donor portfolios and articulate a compelling case for support that advances TNC’s mission and its Global Campaign.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tennessee development team to achieve annual fundraising goals.
• Develop and execute a statewide fundraising strategy to secure gifts from donors in Tennessee.
• Coordinate with The Nature Conservancy's Global Campaign to align regional efforts with global priorities.

Job description

Special opportunity to join our team as the Director of Development for The Nature Conservancy in Tennessee. This role will lead the development team to achieve a fundraising goal of at least $3.5M in annual philanthropic contributions from Tennessee managed donor portfolios through an innovative flexible funding, outcomes-based fundraising approach. They will articulate a compelling case for support to The Nature Conservancy’s mission and drive fundraising success for TNC’s Global Campaign.
