As IREN scales its AI Cloud business, the Associate Director, Corporate Development plays a key role in the Commercial team. This role sits at the intersection of AI strategy, M&A, strategic investments and commercial partnerships, playing a central part in shaping and executing IREN's move up the stack while also contributing to the broader GTM and commercial initiatives that drive the business forward.

  • An understanding of the AI and cloud stack, including training and inference, and the ability to connect technical developments to customer needs and business economics
  • Independent judgment and intellectual curiosity: you can form a clear point of view with incomplete information, support it with evidence and revise it if the facts change
  • Track record of taking transactions, strategic partnerships or growth initiatives from idea, analysis to execution, with clear ownership of substantive workstreams
  • A hands-on approach, sound prioritization and the ability to manage several workstreams in a fast-moving business
  • Excellent analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical and operational requirements into actionable business outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at executive level both internally and externally
