Job summary

Neighborhood House is seeking an Associate Director of Community Health in Portland, OR. You will oversee the Community Health Program Managers, drive system design, and scale operations across Center 55+, Food Security, Housing, and HRSN initiatives.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable processes, develop SOPs, and foster external partnerships to improve service delivery and outcomes while maintaining equity and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational management skills.
• Knowledge of community health systems, housing programs, food security initiatives, and/or aging services.
• Ability to assess and leverage organizational and community resources effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing cross-functional departments.
• Proficiency with data tracking tools and systems (e.g., CRM platforms, spreadsheets).
• Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Community Health Program Managers and coaches staff.
• Lead design and implementation of systems, workflows, and resources across programs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and guides to support adoption.
• Ensure high-quality program operations and measurable impact across community health services.
• Foster collaborations with internal teams and external partners to advance program goals.
