Job summary

Vera Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Commercial Operations to lead day-to-day US field operations and administration, reporting to the Senior Director, Business Operations.

You will partner with the Commercial team to optimize data, analytics, CRM, and field enablement. The role focuses on territory design, KPI reporting, incentive compensation, and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Legal to ensure compliant, data-driven commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years of Sales Operations or Commercial Operations experience in biotech, pharma, or rare disease environments
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced Excel and BI tools experience
• Experience supporting specialty or small field sales teams

Responsibilities

• Data and ecosystems for analytics across dashboards and KPI reporting
• Own and optimize CRM systems (Salesforce) tailored to Vera workflows
• Ensure accurate tracking of HCP engagement, account activity, and field promotional effort
• Analyze field activity and territory performance with KPIs
• Support Sales Operations and Field Enablement with analytics and training
• Partner with Training and HR on onboarding for field teams
• Territory design and alignment based on high-value customers and density
• Maintain targeting lists reflecting evolving diagnostic expansion and new accounts
• Incentive compensation planning and payout administration
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to set aligned goals
• Cross-functional data/workflow alignment with Commercial Ops, Patient Services, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance for regulatory standards
