Job summary

CMC Recruiting's client, a mission-driven nonprofit serving San Mateo County, seeks an experienced Nonprofit Associate Director – Client Services. This role leads multiple Client Services locations, reports to the VP of Programs and Services, and focuses on program operations, staff development, and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• MSW preferred.
• Minimum six years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit human services or related fields.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience managing budgets, program operations, and performance metrics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Case Managers, Supervisors, and Administrative staff.
• Oversee daily operations across multiple Client Services locations.
• Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and support financial planning.
• Develop and evaluate new programs and service initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, program outcomes, and operational metrics.
• Build relationships with community partners and represent the organization at events.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
