Job summary

Family Connections Centers in San Francisco seeks a Finance and Administration Director to lead all financial and administrative operations across multiple sites. This hands-on role reports to the Executive Director and drives budgeting, reporting, and resource stewardship.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in nonprofit finance/operations, strong grant management, and expertise building compliant, efficient systems.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive nonprofit finance and operations leadership.
• Demonstrated responsibility for full‑cycle financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
• Experience overseeing HR and administrative functions, including systems and compliance.
• Strong grant management experience across multiple funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and administrative operations across multiple sites.
• Lead budgeting and financial stewardship aligned with grant and funding requirements.
• Ensure regulatory, donor, and contractual compliance through policies and internal controls.
• Develop and lead a skilled, engaged team with professional development.
• Coordinate annual audits and financial reporting with external auditors.
