Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Products & Solutions team seeks an Associate Director Chief Engineer for Electronic Warfare Systems in Ft. Wayne, IN.

You will lead engineering cost, schedule, and technical execution across multiple programs, interacting with customers and internal leaders. Responsibilities include defining program strategy, serving as the technical POC, guiding multiple engineering disciplines, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in airborne electronic warfare systems design and integration.
• Proven leadership as Lead Design/Systems Engineer or IPT lead.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
• Advanced degree in STEM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single engineering leader for multiple programs, overseeing all technical, schedule, and financial aspects.
• Define program vision, strategy, and goals aligned with customer requirements.
• Be the primary technical POC with customer senior counterparts.
• Oversee system design to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets; manage production.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate activities across IPTs/CPTs.
• Travel ~10% to support programs.
