Job summary

RTX in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Senior Engineer – Electronic Warfare Systems to lead design, development, and testing of advanced EW technology and sensor systems on multiple programs, onsite. The engineer will handle concept development, requirements management, RF system design oversight, production support, failure analysis, supplier engagement, test planning, and system integration, verification, and validation.

Salary range: $86,800–$165,200 USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and ≥5 years of systems engineering experience.
• RF system design, signal processing, waveform analysis, and algorithm testing.
• Ability to present design info and test results to customers.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into system requirements and allocations.
• Lead requirements decomposition and technical element allocation.
• Support system integration and test activities, including design verification.
• Oversee lab tests, evaluate hardware/firmware, and resolve failures.
• Assist with inquiries, field issues, obsolescence, and new product development.
• Estimate labor/material costs for bid and proposal efforts.
• Manage multiple commitments with moderate oversight.
