Job summary

Global Refuge seeks an Associate Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Wilson Fish Bridge to Employment Program, guiding subaward partners, staff, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact employment and integration services.

The role requires extensive experience in refugee programs, staff supervision, and grant management, with strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressively responsible experience serving refugees or related populations.
• Five years of staff supervision or leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex, multi-partner programs with competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of employment services, workforce development, and refugee economic integration.
• Experience with federal grants, contracts, and subawards; ability to interpret policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, programmatic, and operational leadership for the Wilson Fish Bridge to Employment Program.
• Supervise Program Officers and assigned staff; promote professional development and accountability.
• Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement of subaward partners and stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with subaward partners, employers, and workforce organizations.
• Guide contracts, subawards, MOUs, and related agreements in collaboration with internal teams.
• Monitor subaward performance, fiscal stewardship, and ORR compliance.
• Direct training and technical assistance on program implementation and reporting.
• Review data to assess progress, risks, and trends; inform strategy.
• Lead or contribute to funding proposals, grant modifications, and funder reports.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
