Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Behavioral Health to lead operational and clinical efforts across our community health centers and school-based programs in North Carolina.

The role supports the Chief Behavioral Health Officer to develop, implement, and continuously improve behavioral health services that are patient-centered and compliant with HRSA guidelines. The Associate Director collaborates with medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, care management, quality

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressive behavioral health clinical experience.
• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted North Carolina clinical licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT).
• Experience with HRSA funded health centers or grant-funded behavioral health programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of behavioral health services across Piedmont Health's community health centers and school-based health programs.
• Collaborate with medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, care management, quality improvement, and operations leadership to integrate behavioral health into primary care.
• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to staff.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered behavioral healthcare aligned with HRSA requirements and value-based care.
• Provide clinical time delivering direct patient care and advocate for behavioral health services.
