The Associate Director of Behavioral Health serves as a key operational and clinical leader responsible for supporting the Chief Behavioral Health Officer in the oversight, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of behavioral health services across Piedmont Health's community health centers and school-based health programs. The Associate Director ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centered behavioral healthcare that aligns with HRSA requirements, evidence-based practices, value-based care initiatives, and organizational strategic goals.
This role collaborates closely with medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, care management, quality improvement, and operations leadership to ensure seamless integration of behavioral health into primary care while promoting equitable access, positive patient outcomes, and operational excellence. This position does require clinical time providing patient care.
The Associate Director of Behavioral Health must be an advocate for behavioral health services and promote awareness and education.
