Job summary

PepGen, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Analytical Development to lead the internal analytical development lab and support the company’s pipeline from discovery through development.

You will drive method development for peptides, oligos, PMOs, and PPMOs, and manage cross-functional teams within AD/QC and with CMC and discovery to qualify chromatographic and LC-MS based methods. The role requires leadership with a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with 5+ years leading analytical development teams.
• Experience with peptides, oligonucleotides, or peptide-oligo conjugates.
• Experience leading CQA assessment and NDA-enabling characterization.
• Experience leading analytical comparability and authoring regulatory filing sections.
• Demonstrate leadership, planning and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal analytical development lab and implement new technologies across AD/QC and cross-functional teams.
• Develop analytical methods for purity/impurity analysis of small molecules, peptides, PMOs, and PPMOs.
• Provide analytical support to discovery and development activities including sample management and COT issuance.
• Write analytical protocols and reports and summarize activities for regulatory filings.
