Job summary

New York Law School seeks an Associate Director of Academic Success Initiatives to support the Academic and Bar Success Initiatives Team. You will design and deliver academic support programs to help JD students excel in law school, on the bar exam, and in practice.

As part of the team, you will oversee programming, mentor students, and collaborate with faculty across departments while staying current with trends in academic and bar support.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school with license to practice in the United States.
• 1–3 years of academic/bar success experience or equivalent.
• Strong collaboration with diverse faculty, students and staff.
• Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver academic support programming for 1L and upper-level students.
• Use predictive data to identify and outreach to students needing intensified support.
• Mentor students and monitor progress in core courses and study plans.
• Teach in NYLS 1L programming and upper-level JD programming.
