Job summary

This role collaborates with Chairs, DGS, DUS, and program directors to enhance advising practices, admissions processes, and ABET accreditation activities while ensuring compliance and a vibrant student community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and six years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with higher education student life; commitment to support teaching, learning, and student success.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple support, information, and guidance programs to develop community among University students.
• Develops the support, information, and guidance programs to meet the specific needs of students in both academic and non-academic areas.
• Assesses and identifies needs of the student community; develops multiple programs and resources to support these needs.
• Promotes student development through individual advising, outreach, resources, and information sessions on assigned programs.
• Directs, trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of a full time student support team assigned to the department.
• Participates in and contributes to office projects including development and maintenance of website, departmental meetings, and staff meetings.
