Job description

At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life's uncertainties. For more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs, from advocating for seat belts, airbags, and graduated driving laws to leading in pricing sophistication, telematics, and device and identity protection.

Job Description

ASC teams are transitioning many products to our Connected Consumer Cloud. To coordinate the release of these capabilities effectively, we seek a team member who excels in organization, project management, and relationship management. We also desire talent motivated by solving business needs through a product mindset. This role is critical over the next 6-12 months, during which we will develop this hire into a Digital Product Manager.

Supporting the C3 and Amazon Connect platforms, this role is vital within the Digital Product Teams (DPTs) to ensure successful delivery of large-scale capabilities. It acts as the right hand to Leads and/or the Principal, ensuring cross-team dependencies are aligned, risks are proactively managed, and delivery aligns with product roadmaps.

The Associate DPM must understand the platform's strategy and roadmap, ensure effective work sequencing, and identify risks or gaps early. Responsibilities include driving execution, coordinating across teams, and engaging decision-makers at appropriate times to maintain progress. Strong organizational, communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving roadblocks are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execution & Coordination:
    • Ensure capabilities are delivered according to the roadmap, coordinating across Digital Product Teams.
    • Track and monitor progress toward milestones, escalating issues when necessary.
    • Maintain alignment between technology deliverables and business outcomes.
  2. Cross-Team Engagement & Collaboration:
    • Engage with other teams regarding strategy, features, sequencing, and dependencies.
    • Track dependencies across the platform to ensure alignment.
  3. Strategic Alignment & Risk Management:
    • Understand the broader strategy and sequencing, recognizing conflicts, risks, or gaps.
    • Proactively identify and resolve risks to keep delivery on track.
    • Communicate with key stakeholders to involve decision-makers at the right times.
Skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive alignment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like VersionOne.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills for progress tracking and decision support.
  • Proactive risk identification and resolution skills.
Qualifications
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience (preferred)
  • No supervisory responsibilities
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $76,200 to $134,550 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The role requires passing a background check. Allstate values diversity and inclusion, fostering a flexible environment that empowers everyone to lead and innovate.
