Job summary

Texas A&M Foundation seeks an Associate Development Officer for the College of Engineering to advance fundraising efforts and build relationships with alumni, donors, and friends of the college. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.

• Willingness and ability to travel for donor engagement.

Associate Development Officer – College of Engineering

The Associate Development Officer for the College of Engineering plays a key role in advancing the Texas A&M Foundation’s philanthropic mission by supporting fundraising initiatives and building meaningful relationships with alumni, donors, and friends of the College of Engineering. This position works closely with College leadership, faculty, the development team, and Foundation colleagues to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors in support of the college’s strategic priorities.

This position is based on site in College Station, fostering strong collaboration with campus partners while supporting donor engagement across Texas and beyond. The Associate Development Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of alumni and donors, developing relationships that result in philanthropic support for scholarships, faculty excellence, student success initiatives, research, and other strategic priorities within the College of Engineering.

What you’ll do...

Role

As the Associate Development Officer – College of Engineering, you will serve as an ambassador of the Texas A&M Foundation and the College of Engineering by connecting donor interests with institutional priorities. In this role, you will:

• Build and manage a portfolio of alumni, donors, and prospective supporters through strategic outreach and relationship-building activities.
• Conduct discovery visits and donor meetings to identify philanthropic interests and opportunities for engagement.
• Assist in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts supporting scholarships, faculty initiatives, research programs, student success, and strategic college priorities.
• Partner closely with College of Engineering leadership, faculty, and Foundation colleagues to identify and advance fundraising opportunities.
• Develop and execute engagement strategies designed to strengthen donor relationships and increase philanthropic support.
• Prepare donor correspondence, proposals, stewardship reports, and other materials to effectively communicate impact and opportunities for investment.
• Represent the Texas A&M Foundation and the College of Engineering at donor meetings, campus events, and regional engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate donor records and activity reports while utilizing Foundation systems and resources to support fundraising efforts.

• Master’s degree.
