Job summary

Texas A&M Foundation seeks an Associate Development Officer for the College of Engineering to advance fundraising efforts and build relationships with alumni, donors, and friends of the college. This on-site role in College Station collaborates with College leadership, faculty, and Foundation colleagues to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors in support of engineering priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • 0–2 years of fundraising, sales, business development, or related relationship roles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for donor engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a portfolio of alumni, donors, and prospective supporters.
  • Conduct discovery visits and donor meetings to identify philanthropic interests.
  • Assist in cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts.
  • Partner with engineering leadership and Foundation colleagues to advance fundraising.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to strengthen donor relationships.
  • Prepare donor correspondence, proposals, stewardship reports, and impact communications.
  • Represent the Foundation at donor meetings, campus events, and regional activities.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and activity reports using Foundation systems.
