BCI Brands is seeking a Senior Designer to drive the design process for dresses, from inspiration to prototype. You will collaborate daily with drapers, pattern makers, and the design team to ensure fit, color, and construction meet brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in fashion design, strong Illustrator/Photoshop skills, PLM experience, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 4+ years of design experience, preferably in dresses.
• Must have experience working with PLM systems.
• Solid knowledge of garment construction.
• Proficiency in flat sketches using Illustrator.
• Strong Photoshop skills.
• Proficient in Excel.

• Self-starter and proactive teamwork mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Senior Designer from inspiration to final prototype.
• Research market trends, sketch, develop specs, ensure fit meets target customer criteria.
• Collaborate with drapers and pattern makers on development and production garments.
• Create mood boards, analyze collections, perform competitive analysis, design concepts and boards.
• Identify key items with strong brand identity.
• Develop seasonal concepts within assortment and cost structure.
• Translate the Senior Designer's vision into consistent product identity and business strategy.
• Oversee creation of tech packs for overseas development.
• Suggest colorways, fabric, and trim directions.
• Use Centric PLM to create new styles, BOMs.
• Approve trims and color matching; assist fittings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Designer with the design process from initial inspiration to final prototype
• Responsible for market trend research, hand sketching, computer flat sketching, garment specifications, fit, and ensuring that product is designed to meet target customer's fit criteria based on direction from their manager.
• Work with in-house drapers and pattern makers daily on new development and production garments
• Create mood boards, analyze collections, perform competitive analysis, design concepts, presentation boards for meetings, mock-ups, color-ups, inspirational photos
• Identify and design key items with a strong brand identity
• Execute development of initial seasonal design concept in context of larger assortment and cost structure
• Create and execute the vision of the Senior Designer, ensuring that the product is consistent with market trends, while defining the brands’ identity and overall business strategy.
• Oversee the creation of tech packs for overseas garment development
• Provide suggestions for color ways, fabric, and trim direction
• Work in Centric PLM to create new styles, designs, BOMs
• Approve trim and strike-offs for quality and color matching
• Assist Sr. Designer at fittings when needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of design experience, preferably in dresses!
• Previous experience working with PLM mandatory
• Possess working knowledge of garment construction
• Proficient in sketching flats with Adobe Illustrator
• Solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Self-starter and proactive worker
• Enthusiastic and team-oriented

The annual salary range for this full-time role depends on experience between $70,000 - $80,000.
