Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic dental practice in Portland, ME. The role encompasses the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The clinic offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), competitive earnings based on production, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, and 401K.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
Active state dental license to practice.
Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review and interpret x‑rays and other diagnostic tests.
Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
