Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed dentist to join our restorative and aesthetic-focused practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records; interpret X-rays.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues as needed.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics in practice.
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and continuing education.
