Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic dental team. Flexible schedule, full-time or part-time, no nights or weekends, modern patient-centered practice, strong earning potential.

You will manage the clinical patient experience, perform a wide range of procedures including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, and benefit from exclusive continuing education, mentorship, and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics in all patient interactions.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education
