Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic practice built by dentists for dentists. This team emphasizes high‑quality care, ongoing education, and strong earning potential based on production, with a modern, patient‑centered environment and a flexible schedule (full‑time or part‑time) including no nights or weekends.

You will diagnose oral diseases, create treatment plans, educate patients, and perform a wide range of procedures.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Carry out surgical procedures on teeth and supporting tissues.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and update as needed.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
