42North Dental is seeking a Dentist for the Hollidaysburg area. You will oversee the full patient experience from exam to treatment delivery, including in-office specialties like periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes prevention, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning, with emphasis on ethics, professionalism and ongoing education. Competitive compensation with strong earning potential and sign-on details are highlighted.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documented Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
