Job summary

42North Dental in Hollidaysburg is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care. This role covers in-office services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will work with a network of doctors in a culture that emphasizes ethics, excellence, and ongoing professional development, with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
