Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to join our Hollidaysburg-area practice. You will lead the patient experience from exam through treatment delivery, offering in-office endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics as needed.

Qualified candidates hold a DDS/DMD, active state dental license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice coverage, and BLS/CPR certification. We offer a generous sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Continue professional development and stay current with new technologies.
