Job summary

42North Dental is hiring a full-time Associate Dentist for our Hollidaysburg practice. You will lead comprehensive patient care from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialty support including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer a generous sign-on bonus up to $20,000, a strong benefits package, malpractice coverage, a 401K plan with immediate eligibility, and ongoing education through our extensive dentist network.

Qualifications

• State license to practice dentistry is required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
