Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to lead the patient care journey from exam to treatment delivery in Hollidaysburg. This role offers in-office periodontal, endodontic, oral surgery, and orthodontic services, with a strong focus on patient education and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high-quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments via continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
