Job summary

42 North Dental in Montoursville, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team. You will manage the patient care journey from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Earn up to 36% of collections with a daily guarantee, plus a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments through CE and professional development
