Job summary

42 North Dental is hiring a full-time General Dentist in Montoursville, PA. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to treatment, including in-office specialty services. Expect a 4–5 day workweek, 8 AM–5 PM, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education
