Job summary

42 North Dental in Montoursville, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team. The role covers the complete patient care experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers 4–5 days per week (Mon–Fri), 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with either a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections and a $150,000–$250,000 annual range.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
