Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a licensed dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care in a restorative and aesthetic focused practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will diagnose, educate, and create treatment plans while upholding the highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• Must have a DDS/DMD from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in good standing.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance.
• CPR/BLS certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and options.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Review, maintain, and update medical/dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry
