42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to lead patient care in a modern, patient-centered practice. The role emphasizes restorative and aesthetic dentistry and offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), with no nights or weekends and a broad range of procedures.

The Dentist will manage the entire patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
