Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a dentist to lead comprehensive dental care from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics with a focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

The role offers a full- or part-time schedule with strong production-based compensation, comprehensive benefits, malpractice reimbursement, and ongoing mentorship within a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B and malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on treatment options and options.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care, plus surgical procedures.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Review and update patient records and radiographs.

Education
