Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to deliver the full patient care experience—from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers a flexible schedule of 2–5 days per week, with compensation up to 36% of collections and access to comprehensive benefits, CE opportunities, and career growth within a fast‑growing practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.
