Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to join our team. You’ll manage the complete patient experience from exam to treatment planning, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer flexible scheduling (2–5 days/week, 8AM–5PM) and a compensation structure up to 36% of collections, with a supportive environment built on education, growth, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient\'s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients\' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
