Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current valid dental license to practice in the state.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B and malpractice insurance coverage.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
