Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice near North Scituate, Rhode Island. You will oversee the complete patient care journey, from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of comprehensive dental care, with access to in-office specialties.

The Dentist will work within a patient-centered team, offering a competitive compensation structure with up to 36% of collections, robust benefits, and ongoing continuing education through our network and Harvard Rounds

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Current state dental license is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Malpractice insurance proof is required.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
