Job summary

42 North Dental, based in Boston with a Rhode Island presence, is seeking a dentist to lead the patient care experience from exam to delivery of care across in-office specialties. You will diagnose, plan, and execute comprehensive dental treatments for a steady patient flow and participate in ongoing education initiatives.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, collaboration with a team, and ongoing professional development through CE events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Dentist must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required or documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention for patients.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment choices.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and update records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests to guide care.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care and perform surgical procedures when needed.
