Job summary

42 North Dental in Thomaston, CT is seeking a licensed Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, create and update treatment plans, perform procedures, and maintain records with the highest ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dentistry license is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review and update patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA)

Current state license to practice dentistry
