Job summary

42 North Dental in Connecticut is seeking a Dentist to lead the entire clinical patient experience from exam to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong emphasis on preventive care.

You will deliver high-quality care, educate patients, review records, interpret X-rays, and stay current with new technologies. Competitive compensation with unlimited earning potential and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professional ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
