Job summary

42North Dental in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from initial exam through treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, educate patients on treatment options, create and review treatment plans, maintain medical/dental records, and stay aligned with the highest standards of care and ethics while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
