Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist for the Torrington, CT area to deliver comprehensive dental care across the patient journey—from exam to treatment and follow-up. The role covers in-office specialties and a focus on high-quality patient experiences.

Expect responsibilities spanning diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, with ongoing professional development and access to CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
