42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. The role covers the full patient experience from exam to treatment, including in-office specialties.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA–accredited program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.

Education
