Job summary

42 North Dental, a Portland, ME-based practice, is seeking a licensed DDS/DMD to join our Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates team. You’ll oversee the full clinical patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program is required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans and discuss options with patients.
• Review and update patient medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education
