Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a skilled Dentist for our Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates in Portland, ME. You’ll manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialties and a focus on restorative and esthetic dentistry.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options.
• Review and maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
