Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a dentist to deliver comprehensive care across restorative and aesthetic dentistry within a modern, patient-centered practice.

You will oversee the complete clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Competitive earnings are production-based.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
