Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME, is seeking a Dentist to lead comprehensive dental care from examination to treatment delivery. The role includes in-office perio, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

The practice offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) with strong earning potential based on production, a modern, patient-centered environment, and mentorship within a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
