Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to oversee the patient experience from exam to treatment delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers flexible scheduling (2-5 days/week, 8am-5pm) and compensation up to 36% of collections. You will provide high-quality care, educate patients, maintain records, and stay current with dental innovations through ongoing CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and best practices

Education

DMD or DDS

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
