Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the complete patient experience from exam to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers either part-time or full-time schedules with compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance with optional HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K with financial guidance, and access to continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current valid state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and propose treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
